Does our store only operate online?

Our store operates online, and with a physical store in Piraeus 5 minutes from the electric one in Karaoli Dimitriou 8-10.
You can pay by cash on delivery or with your credit card with absolute security.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by cash on delivery or credit card (VISA, Master Card, American Express) or Pay Pal.
The simplest method of payment is cash on delivery.
Of course, LelexTea allows you to pay with your credit card, through the international

Is the ordering process secure?

The ordering process is completely secure from start to finish.
At our website we use the latest 128 bit hiding technology to protect your personal data.

You will notice that our internet address changes from “http” to “htpps” thus indicating a secure site. Also a lock symbol appears in the right or left corner of your browser when your order is in progress.

Is my personal data secure?

We keep all information confidential and secure.

All orders pass through a secure server and your personal data is used only to the extent that is deemed absolutely necessary to fulfill the terms and obligations of the individual services provided by www.LelexTea to its users.

Will the courier company contact me before delivery?

The courier company does NOT ALWAYS contact by phone before deliveries.

Why is my cell phone necessary and what is it for?

There are two main reasons we request your phone.
– This way LelexTea can confirm the validity of your order.
– The courier company we work with does not undertake the processing of the shipment without the indication
of your phone.

How do I add products to my shopping cart?

First select the appropriate category you want and if you find the product you are interested in, select the weight in grams (100, 200, 500) and then click on the “Add” button. You can also use the search engine to find our products more easily.

How can I remove unwanted products from my shopping cart?

To remove a product from the shopping cart, simply reset the quantity, or tick the box next to the product you want to remove in the corresponding column and click the “Refresh” button.

How can I order;

To order, simply add all the desired products to your shopping cart and click either the “Checkout” or “Cart” button in the upper right corner of your screen. Then follow the instructions and continue until you complete the order until you see the message “Successful Order”.

If I place my order, can I see what stage it is at?

Yes! Just click the “My Account” button at the top right of your screen and you will see all the
your previous orders.

Is there Value Added Tax (VAT) on your products?

We are obliged to pay 24% VAT for all teas and herbs.

Product Returns / Replacement

Anything that falls into the category of food – decoctions are not replaced. LelexTea must be notified via email of the problem within the first 5 days of the delivery date.

How do I send a gift to another address?

To send our products to a different address, or to another recipient, you set a new recipient address when you leave for the checkout or before you complete your order. On the “Delivery Information” screen, pressing the “Change Address” button gives you the option to enter “New Delivery Address”.

Is it safe to place my order online?

Of course, it is 100% safe to place as many orders as you wish online. Your personal information is stored securely in our system.

Is it safe to use my credit card on the website?

Of course. Your personal information is transferred encrypted in SSL format. Only Ces (Secure Electronic Commerce) transactions are accepted for Visa and Mastercard payment. Our system will contact the bank you selected so that the buyer can authorize the payment. Once your bank confirms authenticity, only then will the order proceed to the next step. If the online application is not accepted by the bank then the order will be cancelled.

How much will the shipping cost me within Greece?

For orders over €19, shipping costs are free throughout Greece. For orders under €19 the cost for all of Greece is €2.90.

How much will the international shipping cost me?

For orders over €99, shipping costs are free for the whole abroad. For orders under €99 the cost for the whole abroad is €15.90.

How can I make sure I have completed my purchase correctly?

When you complete your order, within half an hour, you will receive a confirmation email. If for any reason, you do not receive an email, then you can make a phone call at our company.

How many days does it take to deliver an order within Greece?

The order delivery days are 1-3 working days from the day of confirmation of your order. The delivery days are from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 7.30 pm for the whole of Greece, however, the delivery times may be modified a bit, according to the applicable policy of each branch of the cooperating transport company.

How many days does it take to deliver an order abroad?

The order delivery days are 10-25 working days from the day of your order confirmation, depending on the destination. Delivery days are daily.

How can I pay for my order?

You can pay for your order with one of the following Payment Methods:

How can I track my shipment?

Why is the Greek herb known?

It is known for its quality because it comes from mountainous regions of Greece, where it grows wild and organic.

What is the correct way to prepare a herbal drink?

On each product page there is the appropriate information for the preparation of the drink. In general though, the preparation of the tea differs depending on the herb or blend of herbs. Herbs are divided into terrestrial and underground, i.e. leaves, flowers, twigs which are terrestrial and rhizomes which are underground. The “hard” parts which are the roots and some fruits should be boiled in the water for 5-10 minutes and these are the decoctions. All the rest, depending on the herb or mixture of herbs, are scalded for 3-8 minutes in already boiled water (we have boiled the water by itself, remove it from the heat and then insert the herb) and these are called infusions.

What is the required amount of herb to make one or more herbal drinks?

In general, the same applies to every drink, i.e. we put 1-2 g of herb for 250ml. But for herbs which are not homogeneous or can be measured by hand, we put a sharp teaspoon. If we want to make a larger amount of tea, e.g. 1 liter, then we multiply what we said above by 4 to get the right amount.

What is the shelf life of a herbal drink after we have brewed it? Is it okay if we drink the herbal drink after it has cooled? Does it lose properties?

When the herbal drink is made we must drink it within 24 hours. If we leave it longer then the tea loses its effectiveness. On hot days when we want to drink something cool, we can simply make our tea and either add ice cubes or put it in the fridge for a while.

How many times can we use the same amount of an herb or herb mixture to make an herbal drink?

You can use the same amount of herb or herb blend up to twice as our herbs are of exceptional quality.

What is the interval during which we can systematically consume a herb without a problem? What problem will arise if we drink more days?

If for any reason we drink the same tea every day, then after about 30-40 days it is wise to take a break for 10 days. This pause is done so that our body does not get used to only this one herb and lose its effectiveness. In general, however, no serious problem can arise, e.g only if it is not used correctly.

Why should we choose your company?

Drawing inspiration from the wisdom of nature and the ancient tradition left to us by the first botanist King of Sparta Mani, Lelekas LELEX and guided by the precious family recipes, but also our desire to return to our roots again, we started in 2017 our small family venture, LELEGES Lelex Tea. Our herbs either grow naturally on the slopes of our mountains, or have been grown organically at the Grafakos estate in Mani, having applied all the techniques required to maintain the natural balance and fertility of the soil, or are organic products from small-scale production units in Peloponnese Macedonia, Epirus, Crete etc.
We are present throughout the production process: from the field to the final performance of the product, taking care to leave the minimal possible footprint on the environment. The harvesting, defoliation and sorting of the herbs are done manually with great patience and respect to avoid stressing the plant and to prevent its degradation. This is followed by natural traditional drying.
They do not contain fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, antibiotics or hormones.

Finally, we ourselves pack our herbs airtight in ecological, recyclable zip lock packaging to protect them from the sun, humidity and temperature.

Is there an interaction of herbs with pharmaceutical preparations?

Every herb in our store does not interact with pharmaceutical preparations and the same applies to every product we have. If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to ask us!

How long do the herbs or herbal mixture stay fresh and how should I store it?

It depends on the herb, but in most cases the herb or herbal blend can be consumed within 12 months of the date of purchase. To keep herbs fresh, you should store them in a cool, dry, dark place and keep them tightly sealed.

Does the tea expire?

The tea does not expire, but it loses its freshness after a while. To keep your tea as fresh as possible, you should place it in a cool, dry, dark place and keep it tightly sealed.

How do I know when the water temperature is right?

While temperature is easy to determine if you have a thermometer, how can you tell without one? The easiest trick is the boil and wait method below. Please note that these are just guidelines and not a guarantee.

95°C – 90°C: Once your kettle boils, let it sit for about 1-3 minutes with the lid on.

80°C – 85°C: Once your kettle boils, let it sit for about 7-8 minutes with the lid on.

75°C: Once the kettle has boiled, let it sit for about 10 minutes with the lid on.

Where can I find an ingredient list and more information about allergies?

Each product page contains the full list of ingredients used to make that particular tea (blend or herb). If you have known allergies, please consider contacting your healthcare practitioner before purchasing/drinking any of our teas.
