Menstruation tea, “Nouminiakon” relieves period pains.
Cramps, swelling, a feeling of heaviness, strong pains in the abdomen and waist, bad mood, migraines, etc. are just some of the most annoying premenstrual symptoms of the menstrual cycle. Indeed, many women experience single or continuous symptoms at some point in their reproductive years. We drew inspiration from Noumemia, the beginning of the new Moon in the lunar calendar of the ancient Greeks.
Guided by the family recipes of our place, we created the wonderful blend, the seasonal tea “Nouminiakon”. In particular, the mixture contains Angelica, Dog rose, Yarrow, St. John’s wort, Cloves, Anise, Rosemary, Spearmint, Calendula, Cinnamon, Rock Rose, Vitex Agnus Castus, Parsley, Lemon balm, Rustyback fern and Ginger.
Vitex Agnus-castus is the ultimate herb for women. Plant rich in volatile oils, alkaloids and organic and natural pigments. It effectively contributes to the treatment of many gynecological diseases. It has been shown to minimize period pains and premenstrual syndrome. At the same time, it is also ideal for treating polycystic ovary syndrome and amenorrhea.
Angelica is rich in phytoestrogens which are undoubtedly especially important for women. Especially, for those who have symptoms of PMS (premenstrual syndrome). In addition, they also use it to treat menopausal hot flashes, as well as irregular or absent menstruation.
Parsley is a rich source of vitamins and iron, and acts as an emmenagogue, stimulating menstrual function and relieving period pains and swelling. Cinnamon is just as effective as the pain reliever ibuprofen and helps relieve pain, cramps and nausea.
St. John’s wort has the ability to significantly inhibit the production of prostaglandin, the hormone that causes the painful contractions of the uterine muscles.
Lemon balm and ginger also contribute to reducing the intensity of spasms.
“Nouminiakon” Tea will immediately soothe period pains. It helps you to relax and continue your daily life without interruption!
