I am Panagiotis Grafakos, the man who envisioned and founded LELEGES LelexTea.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nature has generously embraced our place, gifting it with a wide variety of aromatic and healing plants.<\/span><\/span> Born and raised in our family estate Grafakos, on the slopes of Taugetos<\/a>,is a mountain range over Sparta on the Peloponnese peninsula in Southern Greece. I got to know these treasures from an early age and I was taught to recognize their importance. Over the years I developed an immense love and respect for these great gifts.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Drawing inspiration from the wisdom of nature and the ancient tradition left to us by the first botanist king of Mani, Lelekas, LELEX, and guided by precious family recipes, but also our desire to return to our roots again, we started in 2017 small,<\/span><\/span> our family venture, LELEGES Lelex Tea.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Our goal is, by combining traditional recipes with modern research and studies, to bring people into contact with the natural wealth of our country. Therefore we want to offer you excellent quality, organic botanical mixtures and whole herbs of high aromatic and taste value, which you will reach<\/span><\/span> in your hands, having retained 100% of their therapeutic action.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our vision is, for more and more people in Greece and the world, to become part of our effort, and to enjoy the benefits of our drinks in the field of health, well-being and beauty every day.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Our herbs either grow naturally on the slopes of our mountains, or have been grown organically at the Grafakos estate in Mani, having applied all the techniques required to maintain the natural balance and fertility of the soil. In addition, some of them are organic products from small-scale production units<\/span><\/span> in the Peloponnese, Macedonia, Epirus, Crete, etc.<\/span><\/span> We are present throughout the production process: from the field to the final performance of the product, taking care to leave a minimal footprint on the environment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The harvesting, defoliation and sorting of the herbs are done by hand with great patience and respect to avoid stressing the plant and prevent its degradation.<\/span><\/span> This is followed by natural traditional drying.<\/span><\/span> They do not contain fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, antibiotics or hormones.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, we ourselves pack our herbs airtight in eco-friendly, recyclable zip lock packaging to protect them from the sun, humidity and temperature.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The combination of herbs in our drinks is based on their medicinal properties and their harmony, while their proportions are based on ancient and new recipes of our country.<\/span><\/span> All our blends contain Cistus creticus incanus, “our child”, which is cultivated on the slopes of Taygetos , in Mani Sparta, but also in Crete.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kistos is a medicinal herb with miraculous medicinal properties, known since the time of Hippocrates<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It offers health and well-being, strengthening the body’s immune system, against bacterial and viral infections.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
